Only introduced during the recent Dubai International Boat Show in March 2011, the CC 38 Center Console in Gulf Craft’s Silvercraft range of sport fishing boats is quickly building up a large fan base. We are sharing with you a few snap shots of this superb fishing machine.
Erwin Bamps, COO of Gulf Craft was quoted : “I joined Gulf Craft Inc in 2002. It was the first time for me in this industry, but after nine years the company has grown tremendously, from one shipyard to four. We had 220 employees then and have expanded to 1,400. We have grown dramatically in terms of sales. What attracted me is the company’s vision, a Middle East firm trying to take on the world.”
And further “When I get invited to speak at seminars I talk about good governance not about boats. About the luxury industry and internet marketing. I talk about manufacturing and emerging markets. I talk about labour empowerment. When people say you are not talking about boat building, I tell them our company is not [just] about boat building. ……… It is [rather about] building trust, building relationships with the clients. It’s selling holidays, selling a luxury experience. It happens to be on a boat, that’s all.”
“My dream is one that Al Shaali has: making Gulf Craft one of the top ten manufacturers of yachts in the world in the next ten to 15 years. He wants to create a legacy. I wanted to be a part of it and I have enjoyed the ride so far.”
Earlier this month, Gulf Craft’s Majesty Yachts was represented at the Gold Coast Yacht and Country Club, which hosted the annual Gold Coast Boat Show. Complementing a small display stand on-land, the Majesty Yachts brand was clearly visible with the presence of a Majesty 44 and a Majesty 66 on the water.
The Six Senses Zighy Bay resort is located on the northern Musandam Peninsula in the Sultanate of Oman, a simple 90 minute journey from Dubai. The setting of this beautiful indigenous village style accommodations and private marina is spectacular, with the dramatic mountains on one side and a 1.6-kilometer sandy beach at Zighy Bay, on the other.
The ideal perfect luxury hideaway, it’s also the ideal marina from where to experience the infinite horizon and golden views of the setting sun behind the Musandam Fjords.
We spotted a Gulf Craft Ambassador 55 fly-bridge motor yacht, a model which Gulf Craft launched in the year 2000 for the first time, and a predecessor of today’s Majesty 56 model, which has replaced the Ambassador 55 model from 2007 onwards, relaxing in the sun in Zighy Bay. Thanks, Mike, for the pictures.
Gulf Craft showcased the Majesty 56 and Majesty 88 at Singapore’s Boat Asia 2011 to an appreciative visitor crowd earlier this month. Gulf Craft’s South East Asian distributors Go Boating Thailand (Thailand), Pen-Marine (Malaysia) and Eminence Yachting (Singapore, Hong Kong and Philippines) together with Gulf Craft’s sales staff were present at the stand to receive boating enthousiasts from all over South East Asia.
